RE: Can login, then crashes. by Juan Pablo on Wednesday April 18th 2012, 20:13 I tried to compile wine myself but: sudo apt-get build-dep wine1.5 tells me that i had not "libcups2-dev" installed. So i tried to install that package, but another error. It said that this package was dependent from another named "libcups2". I had "libcups2 1.5.0-8ubuntu7" but libcups2-dev required "libcups2 1.5.0-8ubuntu6". So I went to the synaptic, searched the package libcups2 and use "Force version.." in order to downgrade it and get the version I was asked for. BAD IDEA. That removed every single package in the entire system.. My ubuntu is useless now, im now in an old forgotened debian partition. [post new] [reply to this]
