Well I know you can activate a retail key on steam and download the game from steam (useful if the CD is scratched) at least according to my friend who had that happen to him with a different game.
But what i'll do is try tonight (around ToC/Ony raid) and let you know the results. Cause that would enable it to not have to be cracked. I think I have enough space for another install.
