First thing I would try is to restart all the wineserver processes that may be running. Sometimes wineserver will get wedged for me and I have to restart (or just kill it) to get apps to work again.

I have the exact same issue, install went well, Blizzard updater launched. restarted wineserver, no luck, did a a full reboot. now I see the SC in my processes but it does absolutely nothing.
