May you post your current xorg.conf? Just in case... And what version of xorg-server you have? 7.5 (run "X -version")?

Damn the AMD. I'm only now noticed that you are using 10.7 drivers. I was amused - I've seen only 10.6 drivers on Ati site. I've opened support.amd.com/us/gpudownload/linux/Pages/radeon_linux.aspx page, and, yeap, there is "ATI Catalystâ„¢ 10.6 Proprietary Linux x86 Display Driver".

But a bit to the right, version is 10.7. They just forgot to change description. Let's try this one.

Yeap. Thanks to you, we seems to have draft howto on how to get SC2 working on ati. I'm currently making some tests around possible xorg/kernel version, just in case...

Unfortunately this method just gives me a black screen when i start up Starcraft 2.
