Fixed, just needed to reinstall Wine.. again..
What's with Steam and its inability to not function properly when you want to play a game or update? I mean, it works one day I update something, then it doesn't work the next resulting in me updating Wine as well, causing steam not to launch a couple of games.
Another reinstall still doesn't fix the issue. In my case, it's Half Life 2 Deathmatch that isn't working anymore. I was able to launch it on Wine 1.3.12, but not this time.
Anybody notice this abstract pattern when wine just won't launch games that are well known to work?
