Do a 'winetricks comctl32' and the editor should run perfectly. Don't use a native comctl32 from Windows XP or something, because then you will be missing icons and checkboxes in the Data editor, which is quite crippling to its functionality.
Using winetricks ensures that the override is installed properly.
