Hey Reed,
I am having the same problem Civilization V under steam. I did as you wrote and move my steam installation from Program Files to /home/USERNAME/.PlayOnLinux/wineprefix/Steam/drive_c/Steam/ but no luck still getting same error. How did you solve it exactly? CAn you please explain step by step.
