It turns out I was running Worms Armageddon in a Crossover Games bottle.
Download the trial version of Crossover Games (www.codeweavers.com/products/cxgames/download_trial/) and copy the drive_c hierarchy, then select it as a prefix with Wine. Everything works except for focus-stealing in some online menus.
