Yow, that's rough. You never want to "punish" contributors but a 100 kB patch is very difficult to review and integrate all at once.
Let us know if there's someplace we should track patch development, whether it's a github branch or in #20395. Maybe we can link to it from wiki:InterestingPatches. Thanks again for your work!

Yeah, I imagine he's fairly reasonable, just doesn't like to go over old work like most maintainers on an open-source project (if you're not being paid for it, your time is uber precious!)
I would like to think that a patch with no known bugs that would make a flagship game like this playable would be a dealclincher. Between your patch and some reg tweaks, we virtually have this game playable. Not bad for a brand new game AAA title that's working almost out the box.
