No toes were stepped on I assure you, I'm only here to help, it's not like any of my work is being criticised. My very short n sweet howto was just a "one stop shop" if you will for people to get the game running back when everything we tried was something new, etc.
I didn't want to make it the final authority simply because this game is classed as garbage rating. I'll add another note for what you wrote since it is good work (like I said earlier).
I'll stand by my comment that if the mini howto is beyond some people's scope, they should either google/ask in comments what its about (like what a couple have asked below and i've gladly helped) or stick to something they already know and don't need to "hack" to get working.
