The game started up good but had a few issues that i had to fix myself.
It wouldn't save so i just went into /Program Files/Dead Island/DI/out and made 2 new folders: Profiles and Save.
For audio to work, i simply made the Audio.scr settings default and set dsound to native, builtin and set the prefix to windows 7.
Thanks for this, running the game in wineskin completely solves the shadow issues and the save method didn't work in CXEx Carbon but it works in wineskin! I am only using RELOADED updates 1 and 2 in this wrapper, i have the legit steam version but i needed to check if it worked with the reloaded version :)
