I dont think that Getting around the hang at loading screen is needed anymore, as it will not solve anything, but only make troubleshooting more difficult.
With KUSER patch - it should not hang on that screen anymore. If there is a black screen after the loading screen - then there is problem with graphics or gcc. If the loading screen is removed, you will receive black screen instant, and you will not know when the loading is finished and if you have some further problems
