RE: Mouse going crazy
by pcohen on Friday December 2nd 2011, 2:12
Hi thanks for the suggestion

I did all that changes but did unfortunately not notice any real change.

In fact I reduced dramatically mouse sensitivity with the fMouseHeadingSensitivity (like 0.008) if I am right so the moves are very slow but it is easier to adjust - I mean the mouse is not going too far from the point I want to focus. But that is not perfect, at least far to be playable because otherwise moves are very smooth.
I read something related to the number of FPS suggesting to limit the number of FPS. I would be surprised my card is so powerful :) (an "old" 9600M GT) to cause such kind of problems. Any I increased the details and so on (not too much otherwise I get a memory error) and it seems to make the problem less important (it is still there but like less sensible).

I don't think that my issue is related to wine and or installation but certainly I need to configure something in Skyrim or maybe through winecfg ( I tried directimput, directplay and so on also but did not notice any change).

Does anyone know if there is a dedicated dll for mouse in direct3d ???
Has anyon a list of documented and undocumented Skyrim parameters we might try to adjust in order to understand a bit better which ones I could try to adjust and the effects I can expect ?

Thanks for your help. I am still mad :)
