First of all, the place where to find SS2 multiplayer games is irc.starchat.net/systemshock According to information gathered in the channel, there hasn't been much going on with regards to SS2 in the last 2 years though. The second thing is, I could subjectively double my framerate by creating/setting HKEY_CURRENT_USER/Software/Wine/Direct3D/RenderTargetLockMode to "textex" or "readtex" (instead of the default which is 'auto' or 'readdraw') However, this had the disadvantage of making the menu screens lag VERY bad.
