RE: SS2 crashes on start by Caladan on Sunday July 19th 2009, 7:19 had this till I did the following: - clean install, do install the codecs when it asks - search online for SS2Tool_v2.7.exe, the link mentioned above links to the SS2 patch but the SS2Tool_v2.7.exe is the patch + few things more. - run the SS2Tool_v2.7.exe from the command line as it executes a .bat file which you see back in your terminal window, select all option, and I got it up and running fine in 1280x1024.
