Well, those files are related to the MS C Runtime library. Do you know which OS is set to global for Wine emulation? If not, you can run 'winecfg' and check out the Windows Version box near the bottom. If it's not already, try setting it to Win 2000. Wouldn't hurt to attempt the MS C Redistributable install again too and see what it tells you.
