Yes and yes, it does not matter if I start it via the icon or out of a xterm.
msttcorefonts is a virtual package, which apt showed as installed.
Nevertheless I downloaded msttcorefonts_1.8_all.deb and installed the fonts. This does not make any difference. The message suggests that I make sure that the right medium is present. Of course I did an installation to the hard disk. The file trace of wine shows that wtlibrary looks into C:\Program Files\Watchtower\Watchtower Library 2007\X\rs_data. Just for the fun of it I copied the fonts from a
Windows installation into ~/.wine/c_drive/WINDOWS/FONTS - no change of behavior.
I don't think that this has to do with the fonts.
