RE: wtlib 2010 not running wine 1.3.30 Arch
by David B on Saturday October 22nd 2011, 10:00
I tried running WTLib 2010 using wine 1.3.30 from the arch repositories without success. I tried running WTLib 2010 from wine 1.3.30 installed from source on Arch without success.
I was using WTLib 2010 successfully in Fedora 15 with wine 1.3.24, so I installed wine 1.3.24 from source in Arch. This works, except I had to launch WTLib 2010 from the .lnk desktop shortcut.
I found out how to use the main desktop launcher with Xfce (instead of the .lnk desktop icon) from a post in the puppy linux forum. Edit Launcher and change Command to: wine start wtlibrary.exe Afterwards the icon will change, but you can get it back by editing launcher again and choosing icon.
