I've tested this new version with wine 0.9.15 and I'm getting this same problem. I can enter any amount in the bet box but when I click the bet button it only bets 2x the current bet, regardless of what amount I enter.
I've tried the new PartyParty client on WinXP and I'm able to type in and bet any value.
