I am mounting a CD image for this particular install using AcetoneISO2, using FuseISO I think. I previously installed C&C Gold on Wine 0.9.38 on a different machine with no problems via mount -t iso9660 and adding a device pointing to the mount point. I did wine SETUP.exe in the mount directory, did I do something wrong?
