I tested with wine-1.1.18 and wine-1.0 and it's still happening. When I removed my jaconfig.cfg, the white screens went away, but as soon as I r_mode = -1 and set my custom resolution to 1920x1200 they came back. Maybe it's my libGL.. A vid_restart fixes any white screens that hang around after or before map loads.
