I've tried it on Wine 0.9.43 platform independent version and the numbers problem that I mentioned were gone, so that version might be the best one for running it.
I've noticed that when exporting event files, it will not put the extension (.wpe) on the end of the file so you should do that yourself. Then it can import the event file and play it.
