RE: Blank window by Ben Frans on Monday January 24th 2011, 23:56 Thanks! This is what worked for me. I reloaded with the older kernel (2.6.35-22) instead of 2.6.35.24. (hold shift on reboot if grub2 is hidden to make the menu appear). Along with the .asoundrc tweaks mentioned in discussions below, no more blank screen and rosetta stone works perfectly with my sound devices. [post new] [reply to this]

RE: Blank window by Kim on Saturday January 29th 2011, 11:57 Thanks. With Kernel 2.6.35-22-generic on Maverick and wine 1.2 (via Synaptic 1.2.2-0ubuntu2~maverick2) it works for me too :-). Hopefully someone will know what to say to which kernel developers to fix it for the latest versions of the kernel and of wine. [post new] [reply to this]
