Oops,sounds like i used "spawn" unapropriately. I meant DC fails to "launch" it.
I tried running W40k.exe from within the DC directory and it failed badly, complaining about unimplemented functions in Memory.dll. So i thought that could be the reason for the "bad install" message...
But thank you for the tip anyway : i'll try to play around with the backslashes in the "InstallLocation" string and see what comes out.
