Okay, that works. Thanks! I hadn't tried the -opengl flag yet because I hadn't seen any indication in any thing I read that this would make the difference between working and crashing, only that it would make performance and quality improvements. I figured I should get it to *run* before playing with other settings.
I really experience something really odd in that when WoW closes, all of my open application windows are invisible/unavailable. They are still running, but I cannot find any way to switch to them. This was also happening before the -opengl flag.
