RE: Make trial version working

Can you test the version of wine without winetricks or any other modifications. For example in my case the wine i test is the normal one you download from winehq.org 1.1.33 (until 34 becomes available in ubuntu) i only modified the windows resolution in the winecfg to 1280x1024. Did not change the config.wtf and everything worked good. I work in several gaming networks in my city and (with some mind power) and made several of this gaming places change to linux, ubuntu in my case and they have wow in linux. There must be like 100 Pcs in total with different hardware configurations and in all the only things i do is grab the repo from the winehq download section, update the aptitude, download the wine, configure the winecfg and install or copy from another computer the wow. In all cases i did not install directx9 or use winetricks.

If you have the time and the permission, please give feedback on a clean wine installation and wow installed. Test wow.exe and launcher.exe both with -opengl and without it. The GM945 was also tested by me and works good on ubuntu 9.10 I do not know about fedora, not that i have anything against fedora, but i do not like rpm way of working. For the rest Fedora rocks.
