Enable Triple Buffering in Vid. Options
by mw on Saturday January 30th 2010, 21:07
I just ran the PoS with "Triple Buffering" enabled in video settings (in game) and it was as smooth as it should be.

I did the same for my wife's computer (WinXP and nVidia) and it helped her too.

Hope this helps.

I get very messed up "stuff" during the Ick fight, I think he is the second boss. by stuff I mean that I get lots of things messed up, for starters the game kind of locks up but i can ctrl alt left arrow and the go back ( it takes a minute ) and then I can finish the fight, however after than then my keyboard is all messed up and I have to exit the game and restart to make things work right again. Its kind of weird that so many different things go wrong at the same time on one fight.

I do when using an ATI card, but not when using an nVidia card. The ATI card seems to have some kind of problem with some of the haze/fire effects, which I've also seen elsewhere, but only sporadically.

I noticed I have a similar problem after the big bang when fighting algalon :-(
Almost every fight I got a crash shortly after. Needed to boot up windows to continue since I was maintanking :-(
After playing a while with linux, I noticed some problems add up. All in all, I would give a gold rating anymore.
