I really do not think you are going to get that video card to play wow its a very very weak GPU and in windows you could prob get 10+FPS but in linux i just do not think the OSS intel drivers are going to get you in the game. I am sorry i hate to tell people to upgrade but you really do need a new video card it will save you so much trouble grab a Nvidia 9600GT or better and your more then fine in wow .

There is another possibility. Did you set all the "additional" effects to be off such as Death Glow etc?
And you have you now tried with the new release of Wine as it is miles better at d3d and probably even opengl rendering with all the texture and shadow mapping improvements
