You can try upgrading to the latest wine version provided by your distribution maintainer. If they do not provide anything newer than what is currently installed, then you can get the latest version from the main wine site, and compile it yourself. Just make sure to completely remove your distribution-provided install first.

Alternatively, you can run WowError.exe under wine to try to repair your WoW install.

Lastly, you can delete or rename ~/.wine. That will force you to have to reinstall WoW, but you will have a clean configuration from which to install and run WoW with.

If none of the above works, then I would advise you to file a wine bug at bugs.winehq.org
