Turns out the solution is to delete the WINEPREFIX/drive_c/users/Public/Application Data/Battle.net directory. The Launcher is still crashing every 1% or so, but at least it's coming... I just delete the directory again and start up the Launcher again, and keep going. It seems that Mac users are seeing this with Diablo III and it's related to permissions; didn't see anything funny with the permissions in these folders on my machine, but since I have a workaround I didn't spend a lot of time on it. I'll put in a Test Results entry once I actually get through this process...
