Further update it only happens on system #2, that uses the ATI 8.23.05 video driver. It does not happen on system #1 with the 8.22.05 driver. This may of course have nothing to do with it. I'll update both systems to the latest ATI driver and see if the problem appears on both or maybe disappears.
