You'd got a good idea, but unfortunatly, didn't work. I downloaded from the ati site the latest driver pkg, installed it well, tried it with fgl_glxgears (works faster than the driver shipped with ubuntu), but when I tried wow (I use the in-window mode) when I used togheter mozilla, everything hangs again.
P.S. In the installation of wow I've chosen to answer no when the updater asks for mozilla active x, because I've read that those controllers are still unstable.
