RE: WoW hangs at Success! ?

(oops)
Using nvidia drivers version 1.0.9746 on a geforce go 7400
tried a CVS version of wine along with 0.9.28
WoW seems to hang at 'success!'
in my wine terminal i do see something odd, that is
fixme:wininet:InternetSetOptionW Option INTERNET_OPTION_CONNECT_TIMEOUT (5000): STUB
fixme:wininet:InternetSetOptionW INTERNET_OPTION_SEND/RECEIVE_TIMEOUT not supported on protocol 4
fixme:wininet:InternetSetOptionW Option INTERNET_OPTION_CONTEXT_VALUE; STUB
fixme:wave:wodPlayer_Reset shouldn't have headers left
fixme:imm:ImmAssociateContextEx (0x10024, (nil), 16): stub
Not sure if the 'internetSetOptionW' matters, but it seems weird.
Am emulating Windows XP, have downloaded the mfc42.dll and the msvcp60 one as well.
Same folder of WoW Works just fine on my laptop in windows, and on my gaming rig which also runs windows.
Wine was compiled using GCC-4.1.1, no crazy CFLAGS other than -O2 and -march=prescott.
Also after it hangs at 'success!' if i hit escape, it goes to 'retriving realm list', which also doesn't work. then if i hit escape again i'm back to the normal login screen, If i try to login again, i just get a blank WoW box that pops up that only has a cancel button (where it should normally say, connecting handshaking, success!
on my windows machine i noticed after success it's Connecting then Authenticating, then i get my character list.
Other than WoW hanging at success everything seems to be just fine. OpenGL seems to give me a very nice frame rate at the login screen.
