Tonight I loaded Wow 2.0.5 which loaded and works fine on 0.9.29
You could try backing up your existing .wine directory as .wine-backup then run winecfg which will create a new .wine then copy your system32 / system files and Wow over to the new .wine.
Add the DisabledExtensions entry to your new registry as described in the Wow 1.12.x APPDB page.
