I compiled my own copy of Wine 1.1.3 (successfully and without errors) and also downloaded the newest legacy drivers (they still work on them I suppose), 96.43.07-pkg1. Same issue.
I'm just going to guess this is a legacy card issue...but I can't seem to figure out what could be the reason. Guess it's time for Google. :D
