add "OffscreenRenderingMode"="fbo" to your user.reg file to make your playonline viewer stop flipping upside-down and to remove the black bar if you set your background resolution higher than your game resolution.
i play with 1920x1200 and 2048x2048 with this setting and it runs fast and looks as good as in windows:

i just didn't find a way yet to remove the shadow flickering in some areas like port jeuno
