FWIW, I should note that freezing issues are prevalent in FFXI under Windows as well, so it's worth keeping in mind that not all such occurrences are necessarily WINE issues. Under a normal Windows 2000 install freezing can occur randomly when moving (especially when moving and targeting at the same time) and under other conditions that are not fully clear.
