If you install wine-gecko using winetricks you should be able to use ur linux rig for doing that.. I was able to use gecko to download Windows 7 using its proprietary downloader provided thru MSDN.

I know this does'nt help many people, but the requirement for credit card Verified by Visa and MasterCard Secure Code are not present in the XBox or PS2 versions
