Yeah, you make good points and the links are helpful indeed. I probably have gone through them all personally before, as I have done quite a bit of debugging before (mostly as a learning experience for myself) with other applications, so it's not totally new to me. I'm still not 'too' experienced though, and don't quite have the time to jump into this one right now, but I will try to get something done at some point if no one else still has not. ^^;
To the others who read this, I say that it isn't difficult at all to get at least the most basic (helpful) output for a bug-report even if you have never done it before, and the advice mentioned here by Megas of Vecanti should probably get you well over there!
