I'm having this issue on my System76 PanP7, Ubuntu 10.10. I've tried following the tips above, but I'm never able to get sound using OSS. Is there a special method that I should be following to disable pulseaudio or perform one of the other steps? Any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks!
