RE: Game Engine won't run!

Can you give us any more specifics, like what type of card does AOEIII see your system as having.

If you go to the Gnome Documents folder/My Games/Age of Empires III, there is a file there called Age3Log.txt (or just search for it on your system). in there is what Age3 see's your card as.

Try running age3 from a command prompt and use winedebug

what you need to do is to run it with winedebug.

This will allow you to copy the entire terminal window to a text file or something.

I usually run AOE3 thru a terminal window. To stop it you can just press C.

For example to run with debug, use the following command at a prompt

WINEDEBUG=+tid,+seh,-dxdiag wine cmd.exe

Will get you to a DOS prompt, then type AGE3.EXE to run AOE3. You have to navigate to the AOE3 directory first, before typing the AGE3 command.

When you get the output, post it here, and we'll take a look at it. Remember to also give us the answers to the questions above. Thanks
