RE: installer fails

A couple of thoughts for you:
1. Since you unmounted to install, do you have enough space in your home directory? b/c that's where it's going to try to copy files (Wine FAQ section 3.6).
2. I noticed an option with 'winetricks -> volnum' that might help you if you want to mount in the same place (wiki.winehq.org/winetricks).
Personally, I have a separate 25Gb mount at '/home/windrive' and in winecfg I added it as a drive "Z:". Works for me in most installers (including this one).
