Hmm, this is the first I've heard of this bug. just to be sure, you are playing from a first person point of view, right? would you mind posting a screenshot? Also, you posted in the Oblivion 1.0 page, if you are in fact playing the default installation of Oblivion, I recommend visiting the Elder Scrolls web page, and downloading and installing the latest patch for Oblivion in case this is a bug in Oblivion and not in Wine.
