This happens both with a new character and with a an old one. I've tried
1.1.511 and 1.2.0214. No difference.
When I clear it's folder in documents it creates all the config files and the "Saves" foler. I can save custom settings. So it's not a permissions issue . And just in case i did chmod -R 777 Saves. No change.
When I create a character it autosaves. Then I go to the save game menu and the save is there. I click "cancel". And when I go into the save game menu again it's empty. When I try to save the game after that, no file is created.
