I am still seeing the cursor, but as said it might be a problem with my graphics settings, not the game. The cursor shows in the middle of the screen and attracts the "real" cursor (so there are two cursors) a bit like a magnet.
The loading screen works again.
The cellphone still hasn't got its proper 'skin' (should be gray not purple), when selecting a person the graphic is wrong, and the in-game BIK videos (on TV screens) still do not play, although the BIK videos at startup (ATI/Alienware/etc.) do play.
