Can you post the output wine gives when switching to planetary mode? And, have you tried if wine's emulated desktop makes a difference? I will run a regression test anyway.

My apologies, I have obviously tested the planetary battles with previous wine version, as it crashes every time with me in 1.1.19 too. I will correct my report immediately. I am currently running regression test between 1.1.12 and 1.1.19, will post as soon as I am finished
