Slackware 64 bit current (13.37).
3.1.5 kernel (same behavior with the 2.6.38.7 kernel)
I install wine by compiling from source, no custom options.
ATI Radeon HD 5870, using the ATI drivers 11.12.
I have the Steam version of the game, if that matters. It doesn't matter what if any start up options I use for the game.
