Getting object dynamic or full dynamic working would destroy your fps. Like 1/5th what you have now. Works for me in Windows, as I had 250 with static, so 50 with full dynamic. That was with a 7900gt. In Windows. There is no way you'll get decent FPS using dynamic lighting in Wine with a 5700 I fear.

It ought to be possible with static lighting, but I haven't any tips for you :(

I had flickering of my games in wine. I found out that the Ubuntu desktop effects were causing the problem. So I would try disabling the desktop effects.
