It seems as though when installing certain mods the information is rewritten and colour appears in the title screen, although I cannot say the same of the gameplay because I was performing at a deathly, painstackingly slow, 1/2 FPS . Totally unplayable (on an ATI X1600 128 anyway) the Complete 2009 1.5 & with Extreme Mod, unknown version...both had the same outcome but the Extreme Mod seemed a bit darker when speaking with the first character after the intro movie. This and a couple of smaller mods that I had no luck with were installed with Wineskin RC7 wine version 1.1.39. I'm about to give a clean RC7 a go with the OL 2.0 which someone stated they had finished so I'm optimistic.
I'd love to get down to the heart of the problem on the original install up to 1.0006 and fix the problem without any mods. Could anyone point me in the right direction?
