Finally works again with rc4. Still, altough the game actually loads again, it is unplayable.
Fonts are garbled (never seen this before) - not all, but some (Server Messages for example).
Sound vanishes on every 2nd server join. You play on a server, you leave, join the next - sound's gone. Completly. You have to reboot to get it working again.
Winserver does not shutdown after exiting Steam - it keeps running with constant 50% CPU load.
And worst of all: PERFORMANCE SUCKS with rc4. It is nearly unplayable. The game stutters like hell with niceness 0, with -10 it is better, but still ugly.
